Journal #3

1)how do you hope/want the audience to react/respond to your piece?

I think everyone would have different response to my animation. some people may like it, but some are not. some may think it is too violent, but that just an art form; some may think it is interesting. As my expectation, I wish people would like my piece, feel fun to watch it and enjoy it, and think about the meaning within, and impress everyone's mind.

2) how do you want the audience to feel about your characters? what kind of connection do you want them to feel to your characters?

My characters are weird but they shows power, and connect to our life. people who follow rules are too nice and taken advantage from others sometimes, but if the one who take advantage from others don't get any punishment, would be unfair to others. people should pay for what they did. I want my audience want to think this way after watching my animation.

3) what sort of audience reaction/response would leave you disappointed?
what would be the best response? imagine a critical review of your piece that would make you feel that your piece was understood, and that it was recognized as being a great piece, a festival winner, what would the review say?

I would not get disappointed in any sort of audience reaction. I only care the audiences that pay attention and think. if you like my animation, please clap for me; if you don't like it, you can keep silent. I am welcome for every review. If there is a critical review to make my animation into a great piece or a festival winner, it may be "try using more dramatic camera angle, try more mature style for it."
